The Hunter Valley Convention Bureau (HVCB) will be launching the new edition of its Meeting Planners’ Guide at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) in Melbourne this week.
In line with current trends for all things digital, the guide will initially only be available as a digital flipbook on HVCB’s website or on a Hunter Valley branded thumb drive. The production of this guide has been supported by funding from the NSW Government through Destination New South Wales and its Demand Building Funding.
The guide provides details on venues and services available in the Hunter Valley for conferences, incentives and meetings and will be distributed to meeting planners and conference organisers over the next two years. This industry sector is significant in the Hunter Valley and was worth an estimated $30m to the local economy during 2011. It is especially important to help fill venues and hotels during the quieter weekdays and winter periods.
Buyers are invited to call at the Hunter Valley stand (1920) and pick up their copy of the guide.
Hunter Valley Convention Bureau will showcase the best of what the Hunter Valley has to offer conference organisers and buyers from all over Australia and the Asia-Pacific region at AIME again this year. In its 20th year, AIME is the largest and most important industry event held in the Southern Hemisphere attracting buyers and exhibitors from all over the world. HVCB will be joined by Chateau Elan at the Vintage on its stand
HVCB’s participation in these activities is made possible by the support of the NSW Government through Destination NSW and its Demand Building Funding programme.
