The owners of the Get Global international business events showcase have this morning unveiled details for a domestic version which will take place in July 2021.
ICC Sydney will host the show called Get Local, which aims to celebrate Australasian destinations and suppliers in an “affordable and dynamic event experience for local buyers and suppliers”.
Bender and Kessler said relationships and connecting with one another face-to-face is the essence of the industry.
‘We, like our entire industry, have felt the impact of COVID-19 in our day-to-day businesses, so we want to do something concrete to help the industry kick-start again,” they said.
“Get Local gives us a chance to reconnect and inspire the business events industry in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. By July 2021 we will be well and truly ready to see our friends and colleagues and get back to business.”
