Australian Tourism Exchange heads to Queensland again next year.
Tourism Australia md John O’Sullivan has just announced that the Gold Coast will play host to the 2016 Australian Tourism Exchange.
It will be the first time ATE has been held in the region, with O’Sullivan saying the timing was particularly appropriate given that 2016 will see TA place much more emphasis on “the international marketing of the country’s aquatic and coastal tourism experiences”.
And Gold Coast Tourism ceo Martin Winter said the event “unquestionably represents the single largest opportunity in 2016 for the city and our tourism industry to showcase itself to key influencers of the global travel industry”.
The actual dates and venue for ATE 2016 haven’t been announced at this stage, but will be revealed in the coming months, Tourism Australia said.
