Modern luxury cruise line, Celebrity Cruises, is enhancing its European offering in 2017 by increasing the number of Mediterranean sailings on offer and adding two new destinations, as well as introducing new onboard activities and culinary indulgences. To celebrate, the line has launched its Europe Earlybird specials, offering incredible savings for Australian travellers looking to book their 2017 getaway.
Celebrity’s newest ship, Celebrity Reflection, has doubled the amount of sailings offered to the best of Europe’s three Rivieras – the French, Italian and Spanish coastlines – and now offers eight 11-night “Best of the Western Mediterranean” sailings. The itineraries feature stops in various beloved European destinations, including Florence/Pisa (La Spezia) in Italy, Gibraltar in the UK, and four different port calls in Spain – including an overnight stay to enjoy Barcelona’s dynamic nightlife.
Meanwhile Celebrity Constellation will offer a range of nine and 10 night sailings that will take guests to two brand new ports of call for Celebrity in Europe – Sète, France and Monte Carlo, Monaco.
The modern luxury cruise line will launch a new Taste of Europe program, which offers complimentary events for adults at sea. Events include a culinary demo with Celebrity featured chefs, mixology demos and a wine tasting at sea. Exclusive events are also available for a fee, including a fresh pasta and mozzarella making class followed by lunch in Tuscan Grille, and an exclusive five-course tasting dinner with Celebrity chefs. There is an even a luxurious Taste of Europe Premium Package, which also includes the Chef Market Discovery shore excursion and a “Blentique” wine-blending class.
Kids are catered for too with the launch of Celebrity’s “Summer Camp at Sea” on all European sailings, delivering a comprehensive program for children aged 3-17 that educates, entertains and enriches. The “Creation Station” allows children to express themselves creatively, while “Cooking at Sea” lets them put their chef skills to the test.
2017 will see Celebrity offer three Signature Event sailings in Europe, including a visit to The French Open in June 2017 onboard Celebrity Eclipse, and two special sailings to The British Open onboard Celebrity Silhouette departing in July 2017. Celebrity Silhouette will also offer two additional Signature Event Sailings to the spectacular Edinburgh Military Tattoo in August 2017.
Celebrity Cruises offers over 109 unique shore excursions in Europe, including a theatrical performance of Sophocles’ ‘Antigone’ in Mykonos, a sailing experience on Paraggi Bay, Portofino and a Belgian chocolate workshop.
With four modern cruise ships sailing European waters next year, Celebrity will offer 40 itineraries in Europe, with 61 overnight stays in 19 different European cities.
