GRANT Gilfillan, ceo of the Port Authority of NSW, has been re-appointed in the role for a further three year term.
Gilfillan has led the state’s ports sector since 2008 when he was appointed as ceo of Sydney Ports Corporation, with Port Authority of NSW chairman Nicholas Whitlam saying he had shown “outstanding leadership” during the amalgamation of the ports corporations looking after Sydney, Port Kembla and Newcastle.
The Port Authority of NSW also has responsibility for Port Botany and the ports in Eden and Yamba.
