Meghann Salmon has recently joined the Mackay Convention Bureau as Business Events Manager. With a background in events, marketing and communications Meghann is looking forward to working with local Mackay organisations to secure and maximise potential and upcoming conventions and events and generating opportunities for the local business community. Meghann is joined by Lucy Biehl, who has been with the Mackay Convention Bureau since January and has a background in tourism and a wealth of local industry knowledge, to complete the Mackay Convention Bureau business events team. Meghann and Lucy are well-equipped and eager to help source accommodation, plan social programmes and provide impartial advice to assist conference organisers plan events in the Mackay region.
